A third goal in two games for Amado Flavio sealed a 2-0 win for Angola to leave them top of Group A in the 2010 African Cup of Nations.
With a goalless first half, both teams came out to find the points they would need to take them through to the knockout stages, and Flavio came to the rescue when he crashed a cross from Mabina off his massive forehead to put the hosts one up after 48th minute. Six minutes later and it was two as the fabulously named Alberto Mateus Contreir Goncalves Manucho out muscled Mponda on the edge of the Malawi box and smashed the ball into the net.
With the points secured it looks lkely that Angola will proceed to the knockout stages, although they will be dismayed to lose both Gilberto and Flavio to injuries in this game.
